Waist Wraps with Hoops - Charlotte Dillard
In this workshop we will cover a super fun poi influenced double hoop move, waist wraps! Waist wraps are a great weave to build upon from hip reels (please check out my hip reels workshop for more info on reels!). They are very similar to hip reels in that you are still doing two beat weaves at your hips, but slightly differ because you carry your weave over to the opposite hip. There are many different timings and directions that can be used while in this double hoop move, some of which I referenced in my class submission video! This move looks more complicated than it actually is, so don't be discouraged as we will break down the hand path that each hand takes one by one. A good prerequisite to have would be split time same direction hip reels (in either direction), but don't worry if you're still working on them!

Iso-Flower and Related Techniques - That Hoop Guy
In this class we will tackle the difficult trick of the Iso-Flower and the concept of spinning two hoops in one hand. Mastering how to spin two hoops in one hand in the same time and split time will expand many hooper's multi-hoop repertoire. When we think of multi hoop hybrids with more than 2 hoops, most hoopers don’t typically consider using the iso-flower, so we will be experimenting with different ways to integrate this move into hybrids. We will learn how to do si -flower anti-spins, cat-eyes, and different timing and directions to name a few things. In addition we will learn transitions into and out of the iso-flow which open up new 2-hoop-in-one-hand moves.

No Beat Intensive - Matt Agostini
This class will focus on no beats with two hoops. The goal is to not let the hoop make a full rotation while it is in your hand. Drills will be taught to practice all timings and directions of no beats. You will learn proper technique for both forward and reverse no beats in wheel and wall planes. You will learn the reverse 3 beat weave, forward 3 beat weave, reverse 5 beat weave and how to transition between them. No beat notation will be introduced and adapted to hoops, a few patterns will be taught using this notation.

Shooting Stars and Atomic Folds- What the hell are those?! (double hoops) - Monica Marie
In this class, I will be teaching within hoop folds. This combines knowledge of isolation patterns, smears, and two hoop/one handed skills. I will start the class by defining what I consider to be a within hoop fold, then also will let the class explore the concept of hinging- using one hoop as the anchor to create a fold with another- on their own to see what movements happen organically. Once the class has a grasp on creating within hoop folds, I will teach three of my favorite: shooting star- just a fun name I came up with, simply an extension vs handspin, atomic fold- another fun name for a simple but stunning hybrid folding iso-pop pattern with many applications, and finally, a two hoop/one handed iso with a smear in front of the body and, if time permits, behind the body.

Hip Reels with Hoops!- Charlotte Dillard
In this workshop we will cover one of my all time favorite double hoop transitions, hip reels! Hip reels are essentially just two beat weaves, with your hand positioned on either side at your hips. They are a great way to add flare to your flow, and once you are comfortable with them they look downright magical! We will cover six main timings and directions (all of which are demonstrated in my class submission video on Youtube). With all of the possible directions grasped, we will then move on to the concept of turning with your hip reels! I will share some of my favorite double hoop transitions into hip reels, and the hand positioning I find most successful when doing your reels (it's slightly different than your usual two beat grip!) A good prerequisite for this workshop would be your standard forward and reverse two beat weaves, along with a basic understanding of timings and directions. I will also cover a brief introduction to timings and directions so don't let that discourage you if you aren't entirely certain about them

4 HOOP/QUAD HOOP TECH - Jaimie Hayes
**If image is not displayed.** This workshop will focus on quad hoop tech. Experience with double hoops is not required but will definitely help! I can provide same size quad sets for those who do not have them. ► We will begin by introducing some ways to get into the traditional 4 hoop grip setup, including the butterfly hinge and variations. ► We will then explore different simple fold patterns and grip switches. We will expand upon these folds and grips to create more complex patterns and isolation variations. ► We will conclude the class by combining all of these moves into even more complex patterns including but not limited to quad flowers, quad butterflies and variations of those.

Advanced Chest Rolls - The Hoop Guy
**Please only attend if you can perform a chest / back roll with full contact from hand to hand with relative ease** Chest rolls are Mike’s favorite hoop move, and this class will explore what possibilities lie beyond the basics. Starting with getting our chest roll as slow as possible, we will move into such moves as “chest roll to finger-tip / hand balance,” “turning rolls,” “forearm to body roll,” “chest roll neck wrap,” “chest roll to face balance,” and “body roll breaks,” to name a few. If you’ve ever wondered what’s possible now that you got your chest roll on lock down, this is the class for you.

Melty Foldy Goodness - Monica Marie
I labeled this class as beginner, but I definitely think having a solid grasp of basic isolations and grip switches will be necessary. I want this class to be less rigid, more conceptual and open-ended. The goal is to teach a technique of adding clean folds to any wall plane isolation or isolation pattern. I will go over what I consider to be the difference between a hand spin and a fold and also introduce the concept of static isos vs rolling isos. To do this, I want to start with one hoop. First, I want to show my method of adding clean horizonal folds to rolling horizontal and diagonal isos, antispins, and extensions. Then how to add vertical folds to the same (antispin pattern and extension are a combination of both). Next, I want to explore static isos and adding folds to them. The most common use of this concept is with a move I've heard called Fishy-ing. Basically, it is just waving the hoop back and forth creating folds but when combined properly with rolling folds and another hoop it is mind melting! After exploring adding folds with one hoop and hopefully touching on both hands, I want to add a second and go through some of the same patterns as stated above, same time and same direction. Then I want to explore hybrid folding patterns- this is where we will really give our brains a work out! Combining all types of static and rolling isos with horizontal and vertical folds will be a blast, I want to make sure everyone has ample time to explore and see what comes naturally!

Fire Hoop Techniques - That Hoop Guy
This class will focus on teaching you how to use your fire hoop with confidence, allowing you to hoop like it’s not on fire! Through simple hag placement techniques, we can learn how to work around the fire wicks. We will be learning how to do tosses, escalators, chest rolls, wedgies, and super tricky ways to light your hoop up. If you’ve ever been afraid of your fire hoop, or if you wanted to use an un-lit one to practice with, this is class for you. In this class we will not be lighting up unless we have extra time, and this will only be fore demonstrations. Bring your fire hoop if you have one, if you don’t have one then bring your regular hoop, I have a trick for emulating a fire hoop. Don’t be afraid of the fire, learn to work with it, and soon you’ll be manipulating the flame as well as your prop.

Isolation Hybrids - Mufasa Lee
This workshop takes the concept of the traditional isolation and breaks it up into 4 simple motions, that when combined in variations timings/directions, hybrids are created. Then the class will take all patterns learned and apply them in motion across vertical and horizontal planes, exposing even greater possibilities for entry/exit points for various iso hybrid patterns. Examples of patterns learned in class: goddess machine, all 6 1:1 VTG patterns, two handed iso flowers, and more.

Schmear Crazy (double hoops) - Monica Marie
In this class, I will focus on adding smears to various isolations and extensions. Pre-requisites would definitely be smears in both directions and wall plane isolations. I will most likely start with a short intro on smears, making sure everyone shifts their focus to keeping the hoop as verticle as possible throughout. This creates the cleanest around the body folding illusions and also improves understanding of where your hand needs to be in order to create those folds. The first doubles technique I'd like to teach is a simple horizontal iso vs smear, tracing hands together first (both on top) then hands separate. The later creates a sweet ghosting effect since the hands are simultaneously tracing both the top and bottom of the isolation path. Next, I want to teach adding a smear to a verticle isolation, both fore-finger and pinky-lead. After, I would like to go over extensions with smears. These I find to be easier than the last two, so hopefully after nailing the last two, these are a breeze and I can go over them quickly. If there is time, (and I hope there is!) I would like to also teach double smearing. This looks super tricky and mind-melty, but when broken down into quarter-time steps it is super easy and addictively fun. It also has so many applications and variations, I'm excited to explore them with a class!!! I want to make sure everyone nails these moves in class. It is also my hope that I give ample enough time inbetween teaching each move to allow everyone to explore transitions into and out of and to add their own flair. I'd be happy to go over anything extra like this for those who are curious!
