It's about utilizing the spaces you have, big, small, low, high, with or without obstacles. How to engage your audience using your spacing, stage set up. All props are welcome and encouraged. This workshop will break you out of your small circles and open up all possible stages examining footwork, large body movements, visual focus, and audience connection. No matter the size or shape of your stage you can find movements to embrace and break from your limitations. This class involves constant movement, so be ready to shake it. Bring a prop of any kind (a good variety is best) and we will explore concepts through games based around spatial relations. We will also explore how to connect to audience of varying sizes and how to make every individual audience member feel engaged and special.
