Exploring inside Space This course will involve many Helical and/ or Toroidal elements toward the end of the workshop, so an understanding of these areas is preferred. Topics Covered: Invented space vs The Coronal (frontal) Plane I will explain what it means to go “ inside” and how to move around once we get there. I will give a couple of exercises for slipping into inside space from various locations outside. This includes horizontal insides as well as vertical. I will differentiate between inside waterfall space (inside on bottom) and inside space windmill (inside on top). Tricks taught: * 3 petal waterfall flower vs 3 petal wall flower *3 petal waterfall flower vs wall static *W/ one beat inside *Waterfall linear extentions vs any wall plane shape *Waterfall Isolation vs wall static *crosser with inside swing *penduluming through windmill in 5 beat *inside space behind armpit *negative/ inside space with knee wr Fully enveloped shapes and hand paths In this section, I will give some examples of ways to remain inside for the duration of several tricks. This means drawing shapes that never go outside of the Invented space. If a good understanding of this concept is reached, We will attempt a couple of transition that seamlessly fade in between layered space, Invented space, and the Coronal Plane. Shapes easily drawn inside: Caps 3 petal Isolations Wrap Invented Space vs the Coronal Plane: Part two I will give some example of drawing patterns that consist of outside and inside elements (one hand enveloped, the other on the wall plane). This will include flowers vs extensions, Cap Vs Cap, iso vs extension, iso vs iso and a couple more later in the lesson if there is time at the end. This section is going to be difficult for beginners. Negative space snacks: Pirouettes Inside no beat No beat pirouettes Inside no beat (horizontal)
